Dainius -don't translate with google translator directly from LIT to LAT. It is because google firstly translate any text into English and then to target language - possibility of mistake is double :) Translate LIT to ENG, check it, and then translate ENG - LAT. That is a challenge of rowing 170 kilometers non-stop. That is 24 hours of discovering yourself. That is experience that you will be proud of telling your friends and grandchildren. You think only superman could do this? No – you can do this too!
Are you strong enough to take this challenge?
We had 23 participants at the year of 2010: 12 single boats and 11 pair boats. Eighteen of them finished in time. Three rowers did this in 15 hours. That was Jonas Ragauskas (14 h. 15 min.), Vadimas Cizys (14 h. 29 min.) and Linas Samaška (14 h. 55 min.). We had three participants from abroad. Most quiters stopped in Kernave – most likely not because of tiredness, but because of bonfire, hot water tubes and a great company.
50 percent of „Dipolis Challenge 2010“ participants already registered for „Dipolis Challenge 2011“ as well. Looking at the symbolical value of the date (11-11-11), new records will be expected – those who breaks the record by 33 minutes gets a super prize – 1000 Lt. Second-year participants might also get valuable prizes if they break their own time of last year by 11 minutes. This year marathon happens two weeks later – more experiences, more adrenaline, more proud. Everybody that finishes the distance is raffling for a brand new canoe. Women, participating in „Dipolis Challenge“ gets a present – warm gloves; those who finishes distance in time – travel abroad.
Time and location of the event:
